A 70-year-old Rockland County man faces more than a decade behind bars after admitting to the continuous sexual abuse of a young girl, prosecutors said.
Chestnut Ridge resident Thomas Kelly, 70, pleaded guilty in Rockland County Court on Thursday, July 9, to first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, the Rockland County District Attorney's Office announced.
According to prosecutors, beginning in the summer of 2019, Kelly subjected a girl younger than 13 to repeated sexual abuse and rape in Chestnut Ridge. This consisted of sexual intercourse, prosecutors confirmed.
