A Capital Region man who damaged hotel property earlier in the summer was arrested on two felony charges, police said Sunday, Aug. 30.
Jerald L. Bowden, 30, of Schenectady, was charged with second-degree felony criminal mischief and aggravated family offense, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said. He was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Bowden was staying at a hotel in Clifton Park on Saturday, July 11 when he intentionally damaged property at the business, authorities said. The damages exceeded $1,500, according to investigators.

Jose Tacuri, 50, currently a resident of Wappingers Falls, was arrested in the Village of Red Hook on Thursday, Aug. 27, Red Hook Police announced on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was called to Angel Road in Corinth at 2:42 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, according to Sheriff Jeffrey R. Brown.

Decade-Old Rape Case Leads To New Charge Against Capital Region Man: Police
A Capital Region man has been arrested for a second rape in Saratoga County, authorities said Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Chad Walco, 49, of Milton, was charged with first-degree rape for an October 2015 incident in Milton, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said. Additional details were not released.
Walco was also arrested back in March 2026 and charged with third-degree rape for having sex with a child under age 17 in Kayadeross Acres mobile home park, authorities said at the time. That alleged incident occurred Nov. 28, 2025, police said.

A Capital Region woman flew into a rage with a tire iron on Friday morning, Aug. 28, smashing up five cars at random across Albany and Guilderland, police said.
Davia D. Morrison, 33, of Albany, was arrested and hit with a slew of charges, including one for possession of methamphetamine, according to New York State Police and online court records.

A Capital Region man attempted to steal a racing car right out of a man’s driveway with his bare hands, police said.
Robert S. Thomas, 62, of Greenfield, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 19 at a home on Murray Road, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said.
Thomas tried to steal a race car worth more than $3,000 by dragging it out of the owner’s driveway, investigators said. He was also accused of entering and remaining on the person’s property unlawfully, according to authorities.
