2 Bar Fights Lead To 6 Arrests At Putnam County Establishment, Sheriff Says
Two fights at the same Putnam County bar on consecutive days led to six arrests, including two people accused of assaulting an employee, authorities said.
The incidents happened at La Cantina Loca Restaurant and Bar on Route 22 in the town of Southeast on Sunday, Aug. 9, and early Monday, Aug. 10, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
In the first incident, deputies were called to the establishment on Aug. 9 for a large fight that allegedly included an assault on an employee, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Two brothers are among three young men charged with breaking into a vacant Bergen County hotel and intending to steal a $12,000 ATV, where approximately $50,000 in tools and construction equipment was also reported missing, police said.

Grandchild Airlifted After Pickup Kills Husband, Wife Crossing Pennsylvania Street
A girl was airlifted to a hospital after a pickup truck struck her and her grandparents, killing the husband and wife as the family crossed a Pennsylvania street, authorities announced.
Eric Lutz, 74, and his wife, Donna Lutz, 71, both of Columbia Borough, were crossing at Chestnut and North Third streets in Columbia with their grandchild when they were struck by a Dodge Ram pickup around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, according to Columbia Borough Police and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
