NJ Woman Admits Stealing Over $130K From Two Past Employers In NY: DA
A New Jersey woman has admitted stealing more than $130,000 from two former Westchester County, NY employers and failing to pay taxes on the stolen money, prosecutors said.
Michelle Pennant, 48, of Paterson, New Jersey, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, June 17, to two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and one count of fourth-degree criminal tax fraud, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, June 25.
According to prosecutors, Pennant stole $70,250.46 from a Westchester-based construction company between March 2023 and April 2024.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle: Pennsauken PD
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Pennsauken, authorities announced Thursday, June 25.
At 1 a.m., on Saturday, June 20, officers responded to Route 130 and Homestead Avenue and found a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, Pennsauken police said. The pedestrian, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The collision is currently under investigation by the Pennsauken Police Traffic Division, police said.

McDonald’s is the most considered fast-food brand in the US, according to YouGov America’s 2026 US restaurant brand rankings report.
YouGov America ranked fast-food brands by consideration, asking consumers where they would consider buying food or drinks the next time they were in the market.
